Take A Look Inside My Life: Lalaport Yokohama!

Today my family and I decided to go to Lalaport in Yokohama! It's probably the biggest malls by where we live. But we wanted to go there because there is this restaurant that has AMAZING tonkatsu! It was so good, just looking at the pictures makes me want it again. We just browsed the mall for a little bit after we ate because the mall is too big to walk around all day. Plus there was a lot of people there since it's holiday for Japanese people.

Overall, it was a great day today but it was SUPER hot, almost 100 degrees! I can't believe I leave on Saturday to go back to Hawaii, I'm going to miss the little things about Japan...but we all have to deal with going back to school sooner or later. I hope everyone is enjoying the rest of their summer holiday!

My Evening Pamper Essentials!

Sometimes everyone needs a little "me time" and pamper themselves because..well...you deserve it! After a long day out or days when I'm kind of feeling down I'll have a pamper evening. So here's the things that I would use to pamper myself!

1. Bath Ritual

On pamper nights I like to get into the tub cause why not? I really didn't like going into the bathtub before because I thought that I was just in my own dirt/sweat but it actually really relaxes me and calms me down! Usually I'll pop in a bubble bar or bath bomb into the tub so it'll smell really good and make my skin soft! While I'm in the tub I put on some kind of hair mask/treatment since I'm in the tub for about 20-30 minutes which is perfect timing for the treatment to really soak into your hair. While my hair mask is doing its job, I like to wash my body with some type of bath salt or scrub because it gets all the dead skin off and it feels refreshing.

2. Get the Face Pampered

Now that my body is squeaky clean, I put on a face mask to really feel like I'm at a real spa or something. I usually put the face mask that I'm going to use that night in the fridge beforehand so that after bath time, it will feel cooling on my face!

3. TEA, TEA, TEA!

If y'all didn't know, I am obsessed with tea. I found this tea at the local grocery store and thought it would be the perfect winding down tea to drink at night. I absolutely adore this tea, and it makes me feel relaxed and calm after I drink it, every. single. time.

What are your pamper essentials?! Hope you all enjoyed and I will catch you in the next post! Until then, have a great pamper session!

Back To School Clothing Haul ft. Monki, Top Shop, and H&M!

School is right around the corner and since I'm leaving Japan soon, I thought that I should take advantage of shopping at places that Hawaii doesn't have. They do have H&M, but I feel like the American H&M doesn't have pieces that the Japanese ones do. But always... let's see what I got for back to school!

I hope you all enjoyed it! I can't believe that school is starting already. I swear this summer zoomed by, literally. But I will talk to you guys soon! Until then, have a nice rest of the summer!

July Beauty Favorites!

Hey everyone! I noticed that I had a lot of beauty items that I reached for in the past month so I thought it would be a great idea to show you guys what I've been loving in the month of July!

I barely use face swipes to wipe off my makeup but I decided to give these a try because they had really good reviews on it online. When I first tried it I was like um no...
But after a couple uses, I am OBSESSED with them! They get the job done and gets all of my mascara and eyeliner off, and just makes my face feel refreshed after using them. Also, the leave a strange tingly feeling on my face and I love that for the summer time!

I received this mini sample in my birch box a couple months ago but I never started using it until now. I never really thought that highlighting your face makes a difference, but let me tell you, it does! I've been loving this highlighter, it's the perfect champagne color and goes well with my skin tone. I think it would be pretty for all different skin tones as well! I just put this on top of my cheeks and bridge of my nose and BAM I'm out the door.

This is my to-go lip product at the minute and it is so glossy and pigmented! Also, it kind of smells like berries and not that weird lipstick/lipgloss scent that most products have. I got this last month in this "Korean Town" near Tokyo and I went into Tony Moly and bought this little guy! Overall the product is great and hydrating. Plus the packaging is really cute, what more can I say?

Okay, honestly at first when I used this mascara I was like eh..it's just any other mascara. But after I kept using it, I was like wow, my lashes look pretty damn good! This mascara is awesome and makes my lashes look super long and volumized. I will definitely be purchasing the full size of this mascara!

Since it's summer time I wanted to go for something very lightweight and breathable! This was perfect for me because it brightens my face and it has SPF 25 so it kills two birds with one stone. It's not sticky or oily on the skin and overall it's a great product!

I am so, so, so, excited for August because there is so much going on. Plus I go back to school which can be excited sometimes! July went by too fast, well actually the whole summer flew by in a second. But I get that's life, anyway, until next time!
